8/27: Serial Keillor

from Excess by Games Brown

/

about

Let's face it. Sometimes you just want to name something "Serial Keillor." And sometimes, you just want to name something "Serial Keillor," but then you wait two or three years to make it happen. That was the case here. I started out with a few clips of Garrison Keillor, and somehow ended up with a just-shy-of-musique-concrete (because of all the instruments, you know) gated drum fest with an oblique tribute to the late Robin Williams at the end of it.

Yeah, yeah... I know. "Story of my life," you're saying. But give me a break. We all come at life from different angles.

lyrics

Mark Twain, and uh...
Charles Ives, and uh...
Here's a little song.

Mark Twain.
Charles Ives.
Here's a little Charles Ives.

Here's a little song.

I like New York in June.
How about you?
I like a Gershwin tune.
How about you?
