8/18: Untitled III ("...And From His Blood There Sprang Up the Flower Narcissus")

from Excess by Games Brown

/

about

Here's the first track on the record featuring real, honest-to-goodness, wholesome instruments. Picture some sort of animated time-lapse of a flower growing near the ol' swimming hole where Narcissus ended his life. You know, like... a total ripoff of Gerald Scarfe's floral copulation scene ("What Shall We Do Now?") from 'The Wall,' but... with pastels.

Yeah. Pastels. That'll do it.
